Marni is a pediatric speech language pathologist living in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. She’s got 2 big kids of her own now, and has a song for every part of their day. Marni’s grandmother taught her the ASL alphabet and basic signs at 4 to help communicate with her sister (Marni’s great aunt Clara). At 5, she started assistant teaching music classes to 3 year olds with her mother and was paid in coffee and donuts. A musical theater performer for as long as she can remember, Marni went to Clown College after college, then spent 4 years on the road with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus. She is passionate about community building, lifelong learning, making sure every child feels special, and that every parent feels supported.
